Kitesurfing in Safaga with Active Adventures and our partners will have you riding in the pristine Soma Bay.
Kiters can enter directly from shore but we offer a daily boat trip to this amazing spot. The bay has a shallow area which is perfect for beginners and improvers. Confirmed kiters will ride in the deeper end of the bay, where colors and sea life will blow their heads!
With a steady and constant wind, it is a perfect venue for everybody. Beginners will be assisted and given tuition in a waist deep water, the kites being secured on a line when not in use. The “kite widows” will enjoy the ride on the beautiful ship and can use the snorkeling kit and SUP.
Advanced riders also have the possibility of enjoying a blasting 5 kilometers down-winder with the assistance of the dinghy boat if needed and when conditions and winds permit.
And don’t forget that Active adventures also caters for divers and if you are a qualified diver, discovering the beauties of the surrounding reefs blessed with colorful life is a must. And if you’re not qualified, why not give a go with a try dive or get your PADI qualification whilst on holiday!!
