Setha Wadi Kalpitiya – Sri Lanka

Setha Wadi Kalpitiya is a cottage located on a five acre coconut estate beside the Kalpitiya lagoon, in Sri Lanka. The area is called Sethawadiya, and the lagoon is a popular kitesurfing spot (Sethawadiya Spot) during the season which begins on the 1st of May. The lagoon is separated from the sea by a sand bar. The spot is very popular for this reason as beginners can learn on the flat lagoon waters while the more experienced can brave the sea. Setha Wadi offers comfortable, no frills accommodation with immediate access to the kitesurfing spot. There are 3 double bedrooms and 6 camp beds for sleeping on the lagoon pavilion. The pavilion is also excellent for observing all the kitesurfing action when it kicks off. We are situated just next to a kitesurfing school.
